CFDC Community Meeting, Thursday, June 18

CFDC Community Meeting, Thursday, June 18

If you care about the future of Tribeca and the proposed Independence Plaza tower, now is the time to engage and act.

Over the past several weeks, Vornado has submitted multiple filings that continue moving this 1,000+ foot project through the public review process. Demolition is slated to begin in 2027, with construction starting in 2028. The decisions that will shape this project are being made now. Community participation in the weeks ahead can influence outcomes that will affect our neighborhood for decades to come.

The most important thing you can do right now is to join us for our virtual Community Meeting on June 18 at 6pm.

The June 18 meeting is an important opportunity to come together as a community, ask questions, share feedback and ensure our collective voice is heard when it matters most. Over the past two years, residents have demonstrated that informed, organized community engagement matters. The weeks ahead represent another critical opportunity to participate in shaping the future of Tribeca. We strongly encourage everyone who cares about this issue to attend.

Register for the June 18 Community Meeting here.

Together, we can help ensure that decisions affecting Tribeca are made with transparency, accountability and meaningful community input.
