We’re excited to invite you to a live discussion on Thursday, February 5 at 2pm.
Building on the popularity of our Vornado Watch blog series, we present From Watching to Waking Up: What We All Need to Know — a dynamic one-on-one conversation about the issues that affect you, your neighbors and communities throughout NYC.
Hamilton Fish, editor and publisher of The Washington Spectator and President of The Public Concern Foundation, will interview CFDC President Stephanie Kelemen, a lawyer at Quinn Emanuel, to explore –
- How large-scale development impacts affordability & diversity
- Who benefits from the lack of transparency around new developments
- How NYC’s land use politics are quietly steered behind the scenes
- Why our public spaces demand a higher level of accountability
- What community-informed development would look like
